Educational Services has opened a Math-Power Center at the Math/Science
Nucleus, located at 4074 Eggers Drive, Fremont, California. Dr. Jarvis D. Sulcer is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and graduated from Southern University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a minor in Mathematics. After completing undergraduate studies, he attended graduate school at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where he completed a Masters of Science and Doctorate in Nuclear Science and Engineering in October 1998 under Professor Stephen C. McGuire. Dr. Sulcer is currently working as a Quality and Reliability Engineer in wireless communications with Agilent Technologies in San Jose, California. In addition to working as an engineer, he is the founder and CEO of Xcel Educational Services located in Fremont, California. He has also worked as a part-time Assistant Professor of Engineering at Foothill Community College. Dr. Sulcer is a strong advocate for education and has served as a motivational speaker for several organizations in California, Louisiana and New York. He firmly believes that an understanding of Mathematics is essential to pursuing careers in the high tech industry, as well as giving all students a strong academic foundation to pursue whatever career they choose Math-Power is a registered trade name of Linear Enterprises, Inc. |
