The Math-Power Software Program
The Math-Power Center Software package keeps all records for the
students, provides optimal packet planning according to student needs, and provides
full packet inventory management support. The program makes it possible for
an Instructor to focus on working with the students, without the time consuming
tasks of recording scores and planning work for each individual every week.
The record keeping includes all the student's personal data, plus
the complete record of packet performance from initial enrollment.
The optimal planning function of the software uses the
previous week's homework and classwork scores and a proprietary algorithm to select the
proper homework assignments for the next week. The instructor has the ability to override
any or all homework assignments. The instructor also has the ability to adjust the
assignment process to match the individual student's learning style.
With this optimal planning function, no further planning effort is required until the next student visit.
The inventory management tracks the consumption of packets at the center.
The current inventory can be printed out whenever desired, as well as a list of the packets
whose quantity has fallen below the designated reorder level. This list would be used to order
more packets from the Math-Power headquarters.
Each Center Owner/Instructor receives
the software on a CD-ROM with his or her initial license. At each annual
renewal of the license, the Center Owner receives a new copy of the software
with all current updates. The CD-ROM must be present in the Center computer
for the program to operate.
